Whitney’s passion for healthcare began with her studies at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, where she developed a strong interest in the anatomy and physiology of the human body and the ways in which hands-on therapy can support health and wellbeing.

She went on to study Nutrition, Global Health and Political Science at the University of Utah. These areas of study strengthened her understanding of health from both an individual and wider public health perspective and highlighted the importance of accessible and equitable healthcare for everyone.

Most recently, Whitney completed a graduate degree in Lymphoedema Management at the University of Glasgow, developing specialist knowledge in the assessment and management of lymphoedema and Lipoedema.

Whitney is passionate about working alongside people to improve their health outcomes and to help them better understand their bodies. She has a particular interest in supporting people following cancer treatment and brings a personal understanding to this area of care. At the age of 17, Whitney was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which involved multiple surgeries and treatments, including a complete neck dissection (removal of lymph nodes). Following her treatment, she developed mild lymphoedema in her neck.

Her personal experience, combined with her clinical education and specialist training, gives Whitney a compassionate and informed approach to supporting people through their own health journeys.
